Honorary gifts celebrate milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, bar or bat mitzvahs, weddings, and graduations, or simply show someone that you are thinking about them. You may make a tribute gift online, by mail, or call 480-488-6131 x203. When completing your donation, choose “I would like to dedicate this donation to someone”. Provide your loved one’s name and an address. We will send a card to the honoree or their family announcing your thoughtful tribute. Feel free to add a personalized message in the “Notes” section.

Memorial gifts honor the memory of a loved one. You may make a donation at any time in memory of a beloved friend or family member. You may also donate to the Land Trust in lieu of flowers at the time of a funeral or memorial service. You may make a tribute gift online, by mail, or call 480-488-6131 x203. Monthly giving, also known as recurring giving, is fast becoming a popular way to donate to your favorite organizations. When you set up a convenient monthly gift, you can make your annual donation in manageable amounts. Your ongoing support ensures that the Desert Foothills Land Trust can focus on our mission to conserve and protect our fragile Sonoran Desert, every single day. It only takes a few minutes to set up an ongoing electronic gift through your credit card. You can customize the amount and timing (monthly, quarterly, twice per year, or once per year) of your donations, and you may cancel at any time. Desert Foothills Land Trust will provide you with a donor statement each January that conveniently lists all of your donations for that calendar year. Gifts of appreciated stock offer a generous and convenient way to support the preservation of the Sonoran Desert, while providing you with additional tax benefits. Please contact your broker or a professional financial advisor for details regarding your specific situation. 1. To initiate a gift of appreciated stock, simply contact your broker. Below you will find the instructions for making a transfer. Transfers can be made directly from your brokerage account to Desert Foothills Land Trust’s account. 2. Notify the Land Trust Please help us accurately acknowledge your generous gift of stock. Stocks are often transferred to our brokerage account without the donor’s name attached. Please help us better match your gift to your acknowledgment letter.
